Nick Lesko lives with his wife Abby in the greater Boston area. He is in his second year in the Master of Design Studies program at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University with a minor in Architectural Digital Design.
He currently holds a teaching appointment as an undergraduate architectural studio instructor at the Wentworth Institute of Technology, has taught summer design studios at NuVu, and has been a Teaching Assistant for courses at Harvard GSD.
He is interested in how spatial experience is uniquely dictated by physiological, psychological, environmental, and situational filters. This individuality can be engaged with through sensory design in architecture to create personal and impactful experiences, and he is pursuing this as a research interest in his graduate studies. Other areas of work include computational and procedural design workflows, digital fabrication, and sculptural installations.
