Two week summer design studio at NuVu school in Cambridge, MA. Studio prompt was to design and fabricate a rover to explore fictional extraterrestrial terrain.

Students began with crude handmade prototypes as they developed terrain ideas, rover concepts, and simple mechanics. Then, in groups of three, they worked with a laser cutter, 3D printers, and wood shop tools to iterate in higher fidelity. Final prototypes were demonstrated on the large scale terrain as our final presentation.
