Two week summer design studio at NuVu school in Cambridge, MA. Studio prompt was to design and fabricate water balloon launchers at various scales.

Students began with crude handmade prototypes as they developed handheld launchers. After a "water Olympics" mid review, they worked with a laser cutter, 3D printers, and wood shop tools to iterate in higher fidelity and improve their designs. Large catapults made with construction lumber were assembled, and all final launchers were used in a Super Splash Showdown for our final review.
